As part of "getting back to living" promotion for Stroke Support Group HealthSouth held Community CPR classes in May. The classes were given by CPR Certified Staff: Cathy Sandillo RN, CRRN and Evelyn Bristol RN. It was really amazing to see stroke survivors and their families learn how to safely perform CPR and gain the confidence of reacting to a cardiac emergency. There was one on one education and time to practice the skills that were learned by the attendees.
