HealthSouth Clinicians reach out to local community with a career day held at Ludlow High School during National Rehab Week on September 25th 2008. Story Boards and hands on devices were available for students to spend one on one time with Respiratory Therapists, Nursing, Recreational Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and Speech and Language Pathologists. Therapy Operations Manager summed it up well by saying: "We like to give back to the community…people helped us make the tough career choices and we feel it is our responsibility to do the same to help others".

Guidance Counselor from Ludlow High School, Rebecca Mathison, organized the event. Many of the Ludlow teachers challenged students to come up with Q & A for the clinicians to help them navigate through the Career Day and get the most out of the experience.
