Physical Therapy students from American International College took the opportunity to learn more about HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts inpatient and outpatient practices. Students had tours, saw cutting edge technology and were able to talk to a seasoned therapist to learn more about the profession. HealthSouth offers clinical affiliations to local colleges for: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology and Nursing. "This is an ideal environment to practice for clinicians, we get to see patients early on in their rehab process, see their recovery and even follow-up their progress in our outpatient setting."
