What is the Voice Program?
- A program specializing in the diagnosis of voice, speech and swallowing
- Diagnostic imaging is used to examine the patient; the results of the examination are then used to establish a suitable protocol for each patient.
- Skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists promptly perform individualized therapy
- Physician oversight available upon request
What are some of the symptoms that indicate the use for Voice Therapy?
- Chronic soreness and or hoarseness during voice production
- Loss of vocal volume
- Repetitive voice loss with use
- Increase difficulty with swallowing
- Post Endotracheal Intubation Injury / Laryngeal Trauma
- Laryngeal Polyps, Nodules, Papillomas, Granulomas and Ulcers
- Voice tremors
What are the benefits from Voice Therapy?
- Improved vocal quality; pleasant sounding voice
- An increase in breath support for speech production
- Vocal hygiene for professional voice users/speakers(i.e., Teachers, Singers, Public Speakers, etc.)
How long is the Program?
- It is a 5 to 6 week program
