Speech-Language Pathology
Speech-Language Pathology is a rehabilitation profession directed at restoring and enhancing an individual's cognitive and communication skills. This is accomplished through the use of a variety of functional cognitive-linguistic tasks that are essential to the person's day-to-day life. A Speech-Language Pathologist's education enables him/her to work with individuals who are experiencing swallowing, cognitive, linguistic, speech, and/or vocal impairments.
Speech-Language Pathology programs include:

- Auditory Comprehension
- Verbal Expression
- Reading Comprehension
- Written Expression
- Alternative & Augmentative Communication
- Motor Speech Therapy including treatment of:

- Cognitive-Linguistic Therapy including:
- Attention
- Memory
- Reasoning and Problem Solving
- Organization
- Dysphagia Therapy including:
- Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation
- Swallowing Strategies to improve safety of swallow
- Diet consistency modifications
- Voice Therapy including treatment of:
- Dysphonia 2nd to hyperfunctional voice use
- Vocal cord paralysis/paresis 2nd to stroke
- Community Re-entry
- Pediatric Speech and Language Evaluations for Mass Rehab Disability Determination
