Bioness: Ness L300
What is it?
The Ness L300 is intended to provide ankle dorsiflexion in individuals with foot drop following an upper motor neuron injury or disease.
How does it work?
The Ness L300works during the swing phase of gait to electrically stimulate muscles in the affected leg to provide dorsiflexion of the foot, which may improve a patient’s walking pattern. The Ness L300 may also facilitate muscle re-education, prevent disuse atrophy, increase joint range of motion and increase local blood flow.
